I had a bit of a mixed experience during my stay. On one hand, the hotel's main floors are beautiful, and the staff is polite and welcoming. However, the rooms were quite dark and in need of upgrades, and I was disappointed with the overall maintenance of the facilities. Additionally, the mandatory resort fee felt a bit excessive, especially considering my experience with service issues. Overall, it's a place that has potential but needs some serious attention.

While the room was quite comfortable and the dining at Meritage was excellent, I wasn't impressed with the pool situation which felt overcrowded and noisy. Additionally, some amenities didn’t meet my expectations, like the hot tub being out of order. Overall, it was a decent stay, but I expected more relaxation and tranquility.
